UETM participates in the reconstruction of the 220 kV Megion substation in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area, which is operated by the branch of FGC UES - MES of Western Siberia. Under the contract, the company supplied five WEB-UETM-220 gas-insulated circuit breakers.
The substation 220 kV "Megion" was built in 1970. It provides power supply for large cities of Ugra, such as Megion, Nizhnevartovsk and adjacent municipal districts. Among the major industrial consumers of the substation are the regional enterprises of OAO Slavneft and OAO TNK-BP.
