UETM manufactured and shipped to the customer a containerized V-TPED-3.15k-3.3k-K-UHL1 diode rectifier for a railway traction substation for a rated rectified current of 3.15 kA.
The rectifier is designed to supply direct current to the 3.3 kV contact network of open pit tracks of the Kirov branch of JSC Appatit, where, due to the increase in the production of phosphate fertilizers, it became necessary to increase the capacity of the traction substation. The rectifier is placed in a block container with dimensions of 9x3x3.7m, and its weight with equipment is 11 tons.
OGK SUiSE specialists used a 12-pulse rectification circuit in the developed V-TPED, which can significantly reduce the distortion of the supply voltage that occurs during the operation of the rectifier compared to other options for organizing the circuit.
High-efficiency coolers based on heat pipes from the Chinese company Anshan Anming and domestic diodes from “Silovye Diody” were used in the design of the rectifier. The high-tech controller S7-1200 Siemens monitors the heating and ventilation systems of the rectifier, as well as the condition of the equipment.
