Seven high-power transformers ZNG-UETM-330 will be delivered for the distribution point "Kamenny Bor", which is being built as part of one of the largest electric power projects in the country in recent years – the 1,050-kilometer Kola-Karelian transit.
The new Kola-Karelian transit, implemented by the branch of PJSC FGC UES-MES of the North-West, will increase the reliability of power supply to consumers of the power systems of Karelia and the Murmansk Region, reduce the unreleased capacity of the Kolskaya NPP and the Serebryansky cascade of the hydroelectric power station, ensure the output of the power of the Kolskaya WPP under construction.
The new energy transit is part of one of the national projects – a comprehensive plan for the modernization and expansion of the main infrastructure of the Russian Federation. By the end of the year, it is planned to put into operation two 330 kV distribution points "Kamenny Bor" and "Borey" , as well as 550 km of power transmission lines. UETM will supply new equipment to the facility, which is unique both for the enterprise and for the Russian HVE market.
