UETM will supply a TDNP-10000/10 converter transformer for POLEMA JSC. It is designed to power one of the furnaces and will be installed instead of a transformer that has served its time. The groundwork for this delivery was the repair of a similar transformer for JSC POLEMA, the world's largest manufacturer of electrolytic chromium and the world's leading manufacturer of products made of chromium, molybdenum, tungsten, metal powders and composite materials, located in Tula. Successful and prompt" resuscitation " of the transformer was carried out thanks to the coherence of designers and production units. In the shortest possible time, the transformer was sorted out, the winding was changed, the OLTC spare parts were replaced, and then successful tests were carried out.
