TRDN-40000/110 VM UHL1 transformers manufactured by UETM are installed at the 110 kV Gorod substation in the Republic of Chechnya.
The uniqueness of PS 110/10 "Gorod" is that it is the first digital substation not only in the Chechen Republic, but also on the territory of the entire North Caucasus. The digital format assumes that the maintenance of the substation does not require the constant presence of personnel at the facility, where a high level of automation is organized and almost all the processes of information exchange between the elements of the substation, as well as control of its operation, including in the post-emergency mode, are carried out in a digital data transmission format.
The construction of the power facility is due to the connection of new consumers – industrial enterprises and socially significant housing infrastructure facilities. The project involves the construction of a double-chain 110 kV power transmission line with connecting solders to the existing Grozny-Yuzhnaya line and a 10 kV power line for banding (reserving) power supply to consumers.
Ввод энергоузла позволит разгрузить четыре питающих центра (ПС 110 кВ «Южная», ПС 110 кВ "Vostochnaya", 110 kV PS "Severnaya" and 110 kV PS "Canning") due to the transfer of part of the loads over a 10 kV looped network.
