UETM resumed production of switching devices with vacuum arrester chambers. The last time the workshop produced RNTA and RNOA in the late 90s, then they were replaced by imported on-load tap-changers for a long time.

To fulfill the most important national economic task of providing highly efficient power equipment for electrolysis and electric furnace plants of ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy and chemical industries at the Uralelectrotyazhmash plant together with VEI named after V.I.
