UETM participates in the reconstruction of a thermal power plant in Mongolia. As part of the project, the company will ship a converter transformer to Ulan-Batorskaya CHPP-4, which will be used in the hydrogenerator excitation system according to the program of planned renewal of equipment that has exhausted its life.
In 2015, a new power unit was commissioned at the power facility. Financing was carried out with the involvement of Russian credit institutions. The equipment was also supplied by Russian enterprises.
The construction of a new power plant is one of the first projects of technological cooperation between the Russian and Mongolian power engineers.
