Tank Circuit Breakers ВЭБ-УЭТМ®-110-50

The circuit breakers are designed for switching electrical circuits under normal and emergency modes, as well as operating in automatic recloser cycles in three-phase AC 50 Hz networks with a rated voltage of 110 kV and a shutdown current of 50 kA.

  • Circuit breakers can be manufactured in three-pole, two-pole or single-pole design:
  • 3- and 2-pole design: poles are placed on one frame and controlled by a single spring drive;
  • 1-pole design: Each pole is located on its own frame and has its own drive.
  • Circuit breaker is manufactured in a climatic version of UHL placement category 1 GOST 15150-69, GOST 15543.1 and is intended for operation in open and closed switchgear in areas with temperate and cold climates. 
  • The upper operating temperature value of the ambient air switch is +40 °С
  • The lower operating temperature of the ambient air switch is minus 60 °С
  • On request, it is possible to supply circuit breakers in climatic version T1 - the upper working value of the ambient air temperature +55 °С
  • The circuit breaker is equipped with electrical pole-heating devices, ensuring reliable operation of the switch in conditions of extremely low temperatures and wind load. With the help of temperature sensors installed in the electric heating devices, an alarm is provided regarding the correct operation of the heaters.
  • Availability of built-in current transformers of type ТВГ-УЭТМ®-110 with high accuracy classes and long calibration interval - 20 years. Up to six current transformers for commercial metering, measurement and protection can be installed at the switch poles (up to eight current transformers per pole can be installed on special order).
  • Complete set spring drive type ППВ-УЭТМ®
  • The circuit breakers are equipped with high-strength porcelain or polymer insulators.
  • Each pole is equipped with electrical contact density indicators for continuous monitoring of the state of the gas.
  • Natural gas leakage rate - no more than 0.5% per year.
  • Possibility of shutting down load currents when the excess pressure of the SF6 gas in the CB decreases to zero.
  • Disconnection of capacitive currents without repeated breakdowns, low overvoltage.
  • High factory readiness, quick installation and commissioning under the guidance of the plant's supervisors.
  • High mechanical and switching resource, 5,000 nominal current cut-off operations, 20 short-circuit current outages equal to 50 kA.
  • Minimum maintenance.
  • High fire and explosion safety.
